• A hero who can survive very few hits — often dying from even the slightest scratch.

• A limited number of lives and/or continues.
• No way to adjust the difficulty
• Losing all or most of your weapons/powerups when you die
• Stiff, clunky, and perhaps somewhat unresponsive controls (but only when applied to the original 8-bit, 16-bit, and (to a small extent) 32-bit generations: in more modern games, it ceases to be expected and veers right into Fake Difficulty.)

ive lost hope so instead of rapidly clicking im playing one round of tetris battle [2 mins] and then clicking once.

the system is just so inefficient, i have better things to do with my time than repeatedly pressing a button all day

The Computing and Software department doesn't handle McMaster's online systems afaik. By the way, it's 50 people each year in to Computer Science I.

honestly if u keep trying u will get in
yea it's frustrating but eventually u will get in
i been constantly going on solar to see if a course opens up and i never had a problem
so i dont know what's so hard
sometimes it takes a while but sometimes u get lucky and get on after few minutes
there's ALOT less people on mugsi now so just keep trying

hahaha, true true. I will keep my eyes open.

All of you people complaining seriously need to look at the things you are doing. If you are constantly clicking on SOLAR you WILL get IN .. iv been through it 3 times now. The majority of you are surfing the net / playing games n complaining that MUGSI/SOLAR is inefficient. To an extent it is, & I do agree with that, but you need to play the part of taking a stance n just concentrating on wht ur doing for once. I don't mean to be harsh.. but that's just how it is. If you keep trying, you'll get in.
