Hey guys, I had a question about solar reopening after timetables come out. On the PDF it says the following for solar reopening on August 11 at 8:30am...

"SOLAR re-opens for those students previously registered
and fees cleared by August 10, and for those students who
are newly admitted after July 15th"

I was wondering if this means we need our payment agreement done or if we actually have to pay our tuition by this time. The way I read it, it seems as if we have to have our tuition paid but I don't remember paying so early in past years...

I think you just have to confirm the payment agreement.

the PA has to be confirmed before sept 1st can't remember what day but its mid august for sure. The 1st payment is due sept 1st

So can we get a confirmation that the course/section selection will re-open on Aug 11 at 830am?

Also, why do we need to confirm the payment agreement if it can be done by Sept 1st? If we don't, we won't be able to use solar again?

You just have to confirm your payment agreement by August 10th to ensure your entry into SOLAR for the 11th. This is so you're aware of what you will have to pay and you confirm how you'll be paying (scholarships, OSAP, etc.). The payment isn't actually due until September 1st.
