Really all depends on how much you eat and how much you think you're going to cook when at school.

If you know, due to your lifestyle or whatever, that you eat a lot, then go for meal plans with more money. If you don't necessary eat a lot, but know you won't be cooking, go for more money as well. I know kids in typical residences (with a common kitchen) who have a smaller meal plan and cook when they can, and kids in Bates/Keyes who have larger meal plans because despite having a kitchen, they dont cook.

It really depends on your eating habit. Calories is calories. You can get it off expensive source or cheap source it is still the same.

I'm assuming you still want to live off-campus right?

Since you are still at home, I would just ask whoever does the grocery for you how much they spend. It will gives you a relative cost to work with. Always round up caused prices here might be different (expensive) than where you are.

Is the meal plan a MUST at MAC..or is it only a must for on campus students?
