Hi,

I want to fill out the MSU student health insurance claim form that it states to fill out if you got prescription drugs from a pharmacy other than the ones stated on the website. My question is am i covered if i purchased the prescriptions over the summer months. I have one for May, one for June and one for August 2010. I was in school last year (2009-2010) and will be in school this year aswell (2010-2011) and I already did my OSAP to may my tuition a couple weeks ago, so I should be covered for them right. Not sure if anybody knows the answer to my question or who can I ask to get an answer.

What is my term of coverage??


You are covered under the MSU Health Insurance Plan starting September 1, 2010 until August 31, 2011.
Please note that we do have a "black out period" in which claims submitted during the opt out period will not be honoured until late October.

The last day for claims submissions for the 2010-2011 policy year is October 1, 2011.

For students covered under the 2009-2010 policy year, the last day for claims submission is October 1, 2010.
