They'd probably tell you that if it was functional enough for meal plan swipes, you'd be stuck with it.

I sent in my student form like mid-august in first year, and got my card a week before school started.

I'm assuming they scan the pictures...because my picture is actually crooked on my card, ahaha

Yes, they scan the pictures so they can print it on the card. I however got my picture taken at McMaster and the quality of my picture was decent, that is until the laminate peeled off...

Pfft, that stinks. These cards also seem fragile..I'll try to look after it.
I of course also fell for the big scary bold "ORIGINAL PASSPORT PHOTO" line in my acceptance letter. So, not only is it crooked and funny colors (kinda looks like someone just took a picture of it..its awful light in the middle lol!), but I look like a serial killer.

I got my picture taken at wal-mart. I also had a huge cold sore that day. I swear to god McMaster photoshopped it to make it look bigger.

It seems it's always been like that with student cards...ah. Unless of course I had a brain and would have used a grad photo or somethinggg. stupidstupidstupid! lol

No, it just had to be passport-sized, not an actual passport photo

Also, if they won't replace your bent cards, you could always wait a couple of months, and then find a magnet and demagnetize your card...they will replace it for free (at least, they will the first time it happens lol). They won't let you use a new picture, because that would cost money, but they will give you a new non-bended card

Really ? I've been told that they sometimes offer to take a new photo...ah well

the photo looks better than i expected

it came to my old address..had changed my address a week ago
so i guess they have sent it before, it just took long to arrive by mail
