Student ID Cards
Can anyone tell me when we should receive our student ID cards? I went down to hand in my New Student Form with a picture before the deadline, and people who handed in their forms after the deadline have already gotten their IDs.
So i guess I'm just wondering where mine is

Should be on its way. I got it in mid-August in first year. Give it till next week, and if not, call them. But even if you call them now, they'll tell you to wait.

I guess I just don't understand how things are done. I handed in my NSF at the same time as my girlfriend, but completed my payment agreement at least a week before she did and she's received her card already. Doesn't make a lick of sense to me

They send them out in waves. They're 5000 cards. It makes sense that they're not sent out on the same day..

They could do it by faculty, or last name, or geographical location, or student number, or something else entirely. As Sara said, it isn't practical to send them all out at the same time. |

yeah, I perfectly understand that, but out of those examples above, the only thing it could be is either the student number or something else entirely.
we all live within 5 minutes of eachother and are part of the same faculty haha |

Just be patient, it will come. If you don't see it in a week just give them a call.

Did you confirm your payment agreement? There are number of students who forget to click "Confirm"

Go onto your MUGSI, under Academics, there's "Program and Course Summary" When you go into that, it'll tell you the date your letter was printed. And whether or not it's on its way. Mine was printed on July 25th, only got it late last week.

Mine says August 6th, which is the same as my girlfriend's. So hopefully I get mine sometime this week.
I guess sometimes it doesn't pay to get everything done and confirmed early haha |
