Summer School course withdrawl
I'm thinking of withdrawing a course and I understand that I will be charged with 40% of the course cost at this point.
Does anyone know if I can withdraw now without recieving failure? How does this process work exactly? Any helps would be appreciated fellow mac friends.

It will show on your transcript as "cancelled" and you won't receive a grade for it.

Basically until the drop without academic penalty peroid passes you go onto SOLAR, and just drop the course... That is honestly all there is to it. Your money will be credited to your account.
Your course will remain on your transcript, just with a CAN beside it for cancelled. Academic advising said that other schools (graduate, professional) will look at it and "will slap you on the wrist for it."
Overall don't worry about it. Having a cancel on your transcript, which you can easily lie about, is MUCH better than a useless bad mark or even a 0.
Goodluck, hopefully SOLAR won't try to eff you over before the drop peroid.

Thanks man. Not to sound too keen but would med school look at the cancelled status and go, "this kid withdrew a course, that shows lack of blah blah"?
If I redo the course next semester, it will be replaced with the new grade right? The reason I ask this is because I deferred one exam last year and my transcript shows a "W" beside the actual grade and I hate seeing that. lol

lol, you answered my question just after I posted a reply. Damn it, I can't believe grad/professional school would look at it and give it a slap.
Thanks for the tip, I'm going to drop it on SOLAR this week, I really don't want to lose any more money..

I think it is different for each person, I found it do-able but i wouldn't say easy. ( but I only watch the video before the tests lol). And yeah since there is a different prof teaching , it is hard to compare the course to the year we took it. But yeah, if you're think it's hard and you're not gonna do well in it then drop it.
I wish you all the best
