Taking 4th year electives.
Hey everyone. I have 2 spots open for electives in term 1 and I don't really like what's available to me outside of a 4th year course - CMST 4R03: Cross-Cultural Communication. Since it is in 4th year would it be wise to take it? I am concerned that the workload would be greater the higher up you go and I already have a bunch of required 4th year courses. Also, I'm not in Linguistics (this course is from Linguistics) but I do have some general knowledge about the topic. Would you recommend me taking this course?

Ah, for a second I was like WHAT?! Because it seems ALL the courses I'm interested in are in first term >.> But I'm in science, so I can't help you there.

I haven't taken this course, but it seems as though you need first year linguistics as well as six units above level I in linguistics. With that said, here's the course outline, syllabus, etc etc.

I agree, all the good courses are in 1st term and nothing in 2nd. That doesn't help with the courses requiring pre-reqs.
