Great response! The thing is, Student Services has offered the MSU $45,000 to fix up Quarters as long as we match it with $30,000. Since we are closing it for the summer, we won't be losing that much money and it was determined that this would be a good use of $30,000. Quarters will be concurrently undergoing an internal review, for both external and internal changes to be up and running by September for the new year. This way, all issues can be addressed at once.

Any details provided about the extent of the physical fix up? There's just so much I can think of that can be fixed physically...

From my understanding the details of the re-design will be handled by a consulting firm that we'll hire eventually. So no, no details yet :(
I do believe it's a 100% makeover, but once again it all depends on the proposal we accept.

Can we call the bar "How I Met Your..."
Then it's inclusive. And HIMYM related. I also second Puzzles.

how about calling it "The bar formerly known as Quarters"
or the name we tried changing it to at a GA 3 years back "The downstairs John Vraets"
Or a spin on the classic "Downstairs John" such as "Downstairs John Memorial" or "Ratheskellar Memorial"

The Big Bang Theory is a superior TV show. Don't even bother arguing; I've seen all episodes of both, and therefore, I win.

i watch both shows, every week.
big bang theory is lame and full of cheese and stale jokes, some of which most people dont actually understand...
i consider it a guilty pleasure. almost up there with the new Knight Rider.
HIMYM is by far the best sitcom of this generation of TV
