I think some of the res rooms come with a cork board. I'm pretty sure that mine said that that was one of the things included with my room.

Yup, you are correct. Some come with a cork board, or a corkboard-like substance.

Hi, I just have a question about the timetable. Im at the master timetable to check out the days and times the courses are available. Under Status, some of them say EOW, i was just wondering what that meant?

I have no idea.
Do you mean your personal timetable, or the mac master course time table? If it is a latter give me the info for the class you're looking at and I'll see if I can help you out.

Ah, I see.
It's for the lab sections; so I have a feeling the EOW has something to do with picking the lab section in August.
Previously, we were not allowed to make our own schedules, so anything that is new this year for first years is also new for upper year students too.

UPDATE ON THE CALENDAR-FORMATTED TIMETABLES:
- They will be released August 3rd
- NEW: They will be initially accessable through MUGSI (mugsi.mcmaster.ca), not through the Student Portal Project (MACCESS) which is new this year, since the Portal Project will not be ready in time for August 3rd.

Philip... the red EOW means Every Other Week
Usually you'll see that next to Lab/Tutorial sections.
