Yup. That's all you need to do.
Drop the course you no longer want, and add the new one. Apply the changes, record a confirmation number and you're good.

On a related note, I read in the earlier posts of this thread that people had personally selected the times of the courses throughout the week. All I did for my timetable was select the courses and recieve a completed timetable soon thereafter. Is there anything wrong with this?

Nope. You may just have been lucky so that where you were sectioned yielded no course conflicts. Or, you weren't picky and didn't mind what time of day your classes are scheduled.

In regards to dropping a course and adding a new one, should I consult my timetable for the times available for the new course? or if I go to SOLAR and just add the course will it schedule it in an available time slot like it did my other courses?

Also, does anyone have the link to the page where you input a course code and it tells you when the core classes/tutorials are available?
