The conflicting courses are a seminar (which I can't change) and a course I've been dying to take since second year, so I'm not going to flip my schedule. By attending the seminar class on Thursday instead of the one hour of the other class (when I'll attend the other two hours in the week), I don't think I'll miss anything. The course it conflicts with is full year, which means there's 72 classes in the entire school year. I'd miss 12 by not attending the Thursday classes in the fall. So I'd still be present for 83% of the class. As it's an English class, there's not likely to be any pop quizzes or tests. Any essays could be handed in early or at the drop box.

I'm confident I can pull it off (these courses are part of my major and I do very well in them), but I was just wondering if others have done similar things and how they handled it.

Irenae,
When SOLAR re-opens on Monday, look beside that course and choose a tutorial time from a drop down menu. That's all. There's no rush to do it, except for the fact that other students will fill up the good tutorial time slots quickly. I suggest you look at the Master Timetable now, find out all the possible tutorial times, and check which one is the best fit for your current schedule.

16:30 - 17:20 and 17:30 - 18:20 don't overlap, so there shouldn't be any problem in taking both.

I would advise against it Ria. Unless the stats tutorial is not mandatory and isn't that important. I know Geo 3AA3. Dr. Rink might continue doing pop quizzes in his classes. They are at the end of the class and thus wll force you to miss half of your tutorial. Tutorials are usually really helpful, especially stats. I'm not sure which stats you're taking though. If it's stats 2MA3, then you need the tutorials.

As a more important note, I'm not even sure if the Registrar will give you grades for courses if they're conflicted. I think I remember hearing about people who did it, but someone else needs to answer that one.
