Chem 2OA3 and 2OB3 were tough. As far as first year is concerned, physics 1B03 was the toughest course I encountered. Math 1A03 was not inherently difficult, but it was made quite challenging by the fact that my professor was often unprepared and confused himself. My TA in that course was a grad student who was not a native English speaker. While I am sure he was brilliant, it was almost impossible to seek assistance from him, because he had a very difficult time understanding the questions that were being asked of him.

Is it really that hard for everyone? I'm assuming the assignments and the exam make it hard to get a good mark due to the length of time required to answer each question in detail.

That's exactly what it is. Only a few of my friends/classmates actually found the concepts challenging but everyone I know who took that course when I did found that the assignments were just incredibly long and tedious, and the tests (midterm as well as final) were just as tedious and brutally long, but now with a significantly restricted time allotment.

Damn, I thought so. I wasn't looking forward to second term, but hopefully my Commerce courses can help with my average haha.

Definitely Eng Math 2Z03 and 2ZZ3, especially the latter. I failed every test and didn't do a good chunk of the final exam and still passed the course, so most people were in the same boat.

anatomy first term was very challenging, second term was okay; and yes psych 1xo3 was a tough one too.

Life Sci 2C03
Incredibly enjoyable course. Lots of content, but it is manageable. However, the exam crushes you.

Biology 2B03
Again, very enjoyable course with really great content, but the amount is just overwhelming. Even during summer, it was too much to handle.
