Transfer into Engineering from another program
Hello everyone,

I recently talked to Sally about switching into Engineering I next year, and the only thing i'm unclear of is CA requirements. She said at least an 8 but I just wanted to know if anybody knows just how much of a chance you have with an 8 to 8.5. Also I would prefer if your responses were not guesses, meaning if you know anyone who has gotten in or not gotten in with this kind of average.

Thanks

I also applied last year to switch from commerce and I was accepted to Eng 1 Coop and Comp Sci 1 with an average of 10.5... I didn't transfer in and stayed in commerce however.

Depends on your program the average changes a bit, if she said an 8 then try to get a little above. She told me when I wanted to transfer from B. Tech that I needed a 10 but someone transferred with a 9.5 before.
