Tutorial and lecture conflict :(
My mandatory Molecular bio 203 tutorial is happening at the same time as my Bio2F03 (Kolasa) lecture. There are only 2 tutorial sections and the other one is always full. I emailed just about everyone (Dean of science, the course IA, biology department, TA, Science academic advising) and they refuse to do anything about it. They've all told me that they are sorry and can't do anything about because it's full. They said to either switch my schedule(which I can't because there's only one lecture slot and 2 tutorial slots) or drop a course :(.
So is it worth it to drop Bio2F03? Because If I keep this going then I will have to skip one lecture every week and that sounds bad.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Personally, I didn't think that 2F03 was a class that you had to go to in order to do well.

I didn't go to class after the first midterm because I really did not like his lecturing style and found I learned the material better by reading the textbook (he follows it really closely, I'd say 95%).

If you think skipping a class a week is not something you'd be able to make up on your own time, then I'd say drop it. But 2F03 is probably one of a few classes that you can manage to do well in without going to class.

Hope that helps!

Skip class; go to tutorial.
And get used to it. It happens a lot in upper years
