Wierd why they wouldn't use it in the SLR :S

p.s: lol do you own a SLK?
Yeah, those SL73's had the huge V12 in them. Although that engine is a far cry from what the current AMG V12 in the Zonda/SL65 AMG is.

I'm not really sure why they didn't put a huge supercharged V12 in the SLR vs. the V8, but I guess that's cause the people at Mercedes are sensible Germans who don't want to show off .

And yeah, an SLK 55 AMG.

jeez! Without revealing any unneccesary numbers you could have had much better cars for that amount of money lmao! Alot of cars from the 90's Corvettes, Vipers, M3's, A decent condition classic Mustang lol the possibilities are endless! I don't really like the SLK that very much as well! It's umm wierd looking and a bit of a beverly hills/Palm beach blond car! But a 5.0 Sec 0-60 aint bad eh!

Advertised at 4.9 sec, I clocked a 4.2

I'm not really a fan of american cars, especially ones from the 90s. And I don't really like M3s pre-2004. The SLK is the best hardtop convertible on the market anywhere near it's price range imo. The SL would be the next best upgrade, or if you want to get really crazy, a ferrari california.

I can't wait until this week's Top Gear; They take the SL 65 Black around the track!

lol Blasphemy! The M3 E46's and E36's from the 90's are actually my realistic dream cars( I love that look of the BMW range more then the 21st century one for some reason even for the 5 series)! I mean I really don't imagine myself(If I ever have that sort of money) to be driving a full on sports vehicle. It'll probably be a Sporty sedan or coupe and in the words of Jeremy Clarkson I would be one of those "Cocks" with the blue tooth headsets who drive 3 Series, A3's and C Class(was it?). But probably the M3 E versions would be more approvable no doubt!
But yeah it makes sense IF you are only in for hardtop convertibles(which is another think I don't like, I would NEVER be seen driving an expensive-ish car, which most convertibles are with the top off, I kinda prefer light window tints )
