I'm somewhat disappointed with the turn out for games last quarter.
- Assassin's Creed Revelations was kinda disappointing, was able to beat it in a day. Although I appreciated where they're going with in the story, they need rejuvenate the franchise with fresh characters and plots, different time lines etc. Ezio is getting old lol.
- Skyrim is ok, I wouldn't say its a terrible game, just that it has nothing new to offer. Back when Morrowind first came out, it was huge cause of the open-ended sandbox style, now this is expected of your run of the mill RPG. Bethesda only improved upon what Oblivion was primarily critiqued on, which is its laughable combat system and graphics, both of which are significantly improved however.
- There are many others like CoD:MW3, BF3, and etc, though I haven't played it online, I've heard that they're only graphical improvements of the previous games in their respective series.
As for me, I'm gonna finish Witcher II.
