THE EXACT SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME! bloody hell my semester one classes are so spaced out its gonna suck not living on res :(

nagging them won't get people to drop out of res...

true but i've read other posts where people have mentioned that they kept calling and eventually got themselves a room. it wont hurt to try

They can't give you a room if there aren't any available, though, no matter what you do. Calling them repeatedly will only piss them off.

I think people who are in in 200's or 100's should drop out now..cause its highly unlikely to get in..thats what i heard i dunno...and its soo true they get pissed off easily you could hear it in their tone of voice when u call..lol (N)

Thanks Karen . yah i check my mac email every day no email about rez...ill wait till Sept 1st..one of my friends last yr was on the wait list too, she was at 50 i believe and like about 2 weeks into September school yr they called her and said that a spot was available.

I would say it would take a week maximum to figure it out. Just keep checking everyday. If you get impatient then try calling Housing and to ask them what room you have been assigned.

The email that I got last week said that I had until today at 10am to pay the deposit. Assuming that everyone who was offered a room that day had the same deadline, I would think that they should be coming out very soon since the window to pay the money is not closed.

ya i think the deadline period so far was today, cant wait to find out ! congrats to everyone who got res !

My son called yesterday and they said it could take a week or two before they get all the assignments done - when they do, they will send an e-card explaining how to find out your assignment - just happy he got into res!
For those of you close enough to commute if you have to, I would imagine more rooms will open the first week of school if you can wait it out that long. Everyone else will have to start looking for off campus housing and will drop off the wait list so I'm guessing there's still hope.
