Well, Good luck Meena - I hope you get in. Looks like your in the same boat as my son - there's only 4 spots between you. He went to York last year but didn't really enjoy his first year experience. He visited friends at McMaster a few times and really liked the atmosphere so he was hoping to get into rez so he can meet new people and get involved in all of the activities. Not to mention, I don't have time to run around Hamilton looking for housing this summer!

If you've already been assigned a room then you are good.

No - I'm guessing they were waiting until the end of the business day today to see how many people requested refunds. I don't think we'll start to see any movement until sometime next week when they start to reallocate the rooms. Let me know when/if you get an offer cause we shouldn't be far behind! Fingers crossed.

No change either on my end it's so frustrating!!!!! I hope Monday it changes... for some reason now today my application says incomplete! But its said completed before... it just changed today so strange... the only thing I can think of is that it prompts me on the payment page to make a payment but I thought we're not supposed to pay until we're accepted...

Anyone else having the same issue???

I just checked and it's all the same - it still says complete and waiting list #87 - I'm not sure if that's good news or bad news unless they are processing your application - what # are you on the waiting list?

45 - that's pretty good - you should have a pretty good shot at getting in. Are you a first year or upper year student?

Believe me, I totally felt the same way when I resigned myself to living off campus first year. It definitely ended up being a huge blessing in disguise. You might have to work a bit harder to get involved and get that same sense of community that res gives you, but the rewards are greater as well.

And there's a myriad of practical benefits that go with it as well. Just approach it with an open mind, and I'm sure you'll end up having a blast.

(Also, having access to six upper year students is very handy, especially if they're in your program).
