Like 6-9 am? Usually pretty empty. The few times that I went at that time anyway.

The gym hits peak hours at about 4-6 every weekday. Usually dead on weekends. The pulse tends to be packed at the beginning of september, but dies off because some people can't keep the commitment lol.

January also sees a large influx of people, trying to do their New Year's resolutions. They also die off in 2-3 weeks.

This year it lasted a lot longer then that, and I regretted not paying for a per use pass. The first half of the semester I had time to go but the machines I wanted were taken, while the second half was dead but I didn't have time.

Besides that, the pulse is a lot bigger and nicer then most gyms I have been too and of course Mac people are really friendly so it's always nice to be able to approach people (or trainers) and ask for a spotter!

cheers.
For a summer session at Goodlife (which I will have to end up cancelling in September because they don't have a student plan) I think I'm paying over 4 times what I pay for McMaster for the same time period. Granted, tuition definitely factors in there, but commercial gym fees are pretty ridiculous.
