For those who have witnessed France's downfall over the past few years...

I think you should give South Africa a break, they did well for their level of talent.

I'm not giving them any trouble to begin with. I'm just pointing out that they're the first team in World Cup history to pull that feat off. They also had a fairly difficult group with Mexico, Uruguay and France (if they hadn't been total tools and flopped).

USA moves on, awesome.

Just need England, Italy, Portugal, and Spain to lose and I'll be happy... as they're easily the most annoying fans (along with Greece who I'm happy to see eliminated). Depending on where you're located (ie. Stoney Creek), the Serbs are a nuisance too.

The Serbs are done for.

But I'm glad to see England move on. They'll play Germany, the match which dreams are made of!

The end of that game was ridiculous. Italy nearly managed to tie it up, just a bit wide. I love how Italy's #18 fell to the ground and started to cry.

Ozil, Boateng and Schweinsteiger all have injuries. I'm hoping they aren't too serious, especially Ozil's.

Congratulations to New Zealand for doing better than what almost everyone expected. They didn't lose a game, just 3 draws. If the Italians didn't show off their diving expertise for that NZ-ITA game, I'm sure NZ would've advanced to the Round of 16.

Once again, congratulations. *applause*

I agree, I was quite impressed with New Zealand.

Also, I can't believe that handball... he should have just taken it in the head :\
