I find Spanish referees really trigger-happy when it comes to booking players. And that really kills the flow of the game. Evidence: watch a La Liga game.

But, OMGLOL ENGLAND FAIL.

Good job on the Algerians not only for their defensive qualities today, but they actually gave it to the English (mainly in the first half) by stretching their defense with fullbacks moving forward.

Ah, today's games have been so ... something. First, Germany's loss to Serbia and then England's draw with Algeria. Algeria played a lot better than I thought though, they actually gave England a hard time.. And then there was Heskey =/.
