So I lost my student card today somewhere in the gym (will check tomorrow morning) and.. I checked the office of registarer and mac express operating times, they do not open on saturdays.. @#&%@#. It's not that I want to replace my card immediately.. it's just that

IS THERE ANYWAY TO CANCEL MY CARD TOMORROW EVEN THOUGH THOSE ARE CLOSED!?

HELP?!

Well u've just brought more attention to it so IF someone found it and IF they had bad intentions and IF they were a member or prospective viewer of MI and IF they were to read this particular thread then there is no IF cuz u would be screwed...mmmm pizza pizza, donuts, chocolate milk (buy all of them just to see if they moo), tariyaki anyone? haha

No really I'm sure most ppl wouldn't do anything like that. Hopefully whoever found it has given it to the proper people and you will be notified or something.

I've lost my student card on campus, as well. =/
Luckily someone found it and brought it to Thode a day or two later.

I wouldn't suggest getting a new card unless you ABSOLUTELY need it, i.e. a test (though I doubt it's likely atm, term just begun), so I'd wait a couple days. Sometimes people wait a day or two before getting around to bringing it to the registrar.

Hmm, as for putting it on hold, I'm not sure what you'd do if it's closed on weekends..
I guess you'd just have to go look for it and if you still can't find it, put it on hold on Monday. =/

You'll probably have to go to the Registrar's Office or Mac Express for that.

Just to help ease your anxiety, I really don't think many people at mac would just use your card. Recently I saw someone pick up a lost card on the bus and they returned to the bus driver without hesitation.

You'd have to go to the Mac Express office in the Commons building

If it helps, I lost my card about 2 months ago as well (but that was on the bus, so it was very unlikely to get it back). Anyway, my friend also lost it on campus, but she was able to get it back. So my point is, look again in the gym, check the main desk as they might have it, and try your best before you go get it re-printed .
