I screwed myself over.
I am missing Sociology 1A03, and I don't know what the chances are of me getting in on the 11th? Am I screwed, or...?

Is it a required course?

Email the Sociology department; they should open up a seat if it's a required course

Then contact the Sociology department and ask if they can reserve a seat for you. Explain to them the situation. Calling would be best.

All right, thanks. I am going to wait until the 11th, if not, I will e-mail them then.

Another question: If I do e-mail them, and I get a spot reseved, on the 11th, I shouldn't have any conflicts?

Conflicts on SOLAR are just prerequisites and anti-requisites. If you want to see if the course will conflict with other courses in terms of slot time, then you have to refer to the master time table.

If they open a seat to you you'll be able to select it on Solar... since it's a required course I doubt it will conflict unless it conflicts with your electives

And, usually, I believe they open a seat in the course for you but you can still choose which core you want. Somebody feel free to correct me if I'm wrong

I believe your right however core selection may be limited as some might be full so try to figure out which core you want and a back up core... might even need a third choice

No considerations until the 16, so I will just wait things out, and hope for promise on the 11th
