Not sure how you go about getting permission to, but I'm even familiar with graduate programs that will give you partial credit for a class you've audited (if it's of particular relevance). I wish I had done this for a couple of classes.

To the people asking, this is in the undergraduate calendar, "Auditing Courses: If you are a currently registered student in a degree program and you do not wish to have credit for a course, you may, with the approval of the Chair of the Department and the Office of the Associate Dean, audit the course. You must satisfy the prerequisite for the course, but will not complete assignments nor write the final examinations. You will not be permitted to register for credit in the course after the registration deadline for the session has passed."

Yes, you can definitely overload and take a maximum of 6 courses/term I believe. You can't do so in 1st year though, and you need a GPA of 7+ to do so in upper years, with the permission of your faculty.
