What do you think is the best laptop for under 1500 bucks for a student?

Look at the specs of what I posted, and then look at a Macbook Pro 13. Same Price. Big Difference.

$1500 is A LOT of money for a laptop.
I got a Sony Vaio a few years ago and it works fine. It was the cheapest that Future Shop had at the time, and I think I paid $600 (inclu. taxes)
It depends what you want your laptop for, but if you want it to last a long time, I suggest a MacBook.

i bought a $400 toshiba and a kick ass desktop. best way to go in my opinion.

All i can say is, go with ASUS or Lenovo. If you have issues down the road, their warranty is the best.

Amazing laptop, only thing is, its not for gaming since the graphics card isnt an ATi or nVidia.
