I think account will be credited if you have a balance in the account otherwise a cheque will be issued.

yes my account was credited, but they said they were going to try to send cheques out for "accounts credited" by the end of february, that is why i'm wondering if their's were originally cheque or credited

I checked my account on MUGSI and it said "REFUND" beside the bursary amount. Does that mean they will send me a cheque or it will just be stored in my account?

Are you in urgent need of the money? I am sure it will come some time soon. It should be approximately 4 weeks till you receive it starting the date when the money was put in your account.
