hello, i was just wondering when you apply to residence , do you get to request which buildings you want to possibly be in? or do you just pick the room type you would like and get assigned to any building?

You can't choose buildings anymore, you can only choose room type.

But certain roomtypes are more likely to get you certain buildings... e.g. single/double with washroom most likely = Les Prince.
