Whatever... I'm going to stick by my dictionary definition of the word for the masses . If you want to go into the technicalities, well, have fun. I'm not going to get into an argument over something that has nothing to do with the topic at hand.

UGH. so Sally Williams says that it's strictly restricted to engineering student. Somehow I doubt that, but who knows. She basically said that 1B03 plus 1BA3 = 1D03 and there isn't an equivalent to 1E03.
I don't know if I should still keep trying to get into those courses or to fight with the conflict. UGH. fml.

That's definitely not true. Though I guess she would probably tell you Math 1X03 + 1XX3 = Math 1N03, and there's no equivalent for Math 1NN3
Why would physics students receive less physics in their physics courses, than engineers?
Dunno, sounds like she may just not be the most helpful...there's no reason she couldn't allow you to take the courses anyway.

1B03 + 1BB3 could equal 1D03 if you mean in terms of what topics are covered (regardless of depth gone into each one). One of my friends took 1B03, and I think he said it mostly dealt with waves and simple harmonic motion. 1D03 covers this too (as well as 1E03) but we didn't go nearly as in depth with it.

well, i think my best bet would be to see an academic advisor. And basically tell them that they scheduled two courses that I need at the same time and it's their fault, cause ouac told them what program i wanted to pursue and therefore, should stick me into 1D03 and 1E03. ... if they would actually pick up the phone, i would schedule one. UGH.

Keep trying! If anything you can trek down to McMaster. Just make sure you get there when the advisoring is open. Not sure what the hours are for summer.

UGH. So I ended up e-mailing Sally Williams again. She said, space issues aside, I need to be in engineering.
WTF. This isn't good at all. I'm really worried. I can't be in two places at once and just deal with the conflict. Nor can I call in because clearly the people in the science office don't pick up their phone. It just redirects me to the welcome speech over and over and over. Ridiculous.
Sally Williams also said that SHE'S a first year advisor and that there is not chance at all. UGH. My life sucks.

I agree, your life is f*****.
There is always summer school. First year physic is one of those classes that's always available during the summer.

Do you absolutely need Math 1C03 as a prereq for courses you need/want to take in 2nd year? You could just delay it until then if you really don't get this resolved.
Good luck! You seem very frustrated :S...
EDIT: I just looked at your 1st year program and it's a prereq to finish Math & Stats I. Maybe you can delay Physics 1BA3 to next year...?

So, basically, thats what I end up with. I guess I better learn to split myself into two. There really is no other option...
EDIT: MATH 1C03 is part of my first year program. Unfortunately, if I don't take it, I also don't pass first year. If I were to only take PHYS 1B03, i'd be a waste of my money. Might as well wait until second year and basically start from scratch. Summer school isn't an option and I don't know. I feel like mac has just completely failed me. Makes me wonder if I made the right choice.
EDIT 2: Money-wise, taking PHYS 1B03 and 1BA3 in two separate years is really bad. Especially if I'll have to take PHYS 1E03 definitely and PHYS 1D03 possibly, when I switch to engineering. Might as well save my money and try and get some 2nd year courses done. And hopefully, get into engineering. Problem is, by then, I'll have no phys knowledge and I'll probably be so frustrated that I give up.
