I agree the University has handled this very poorly, however shutting down the construction was probably not a very viable option.
Bad excuse, the deadline was extended until October 31, 2011 so they have almost another year to get it done. If the university cared about student success they would have found a way around this.

no man that is not life advice. that advice only applies to when it comes to democracy (in this case the university). When it comes to life you obviously strive to meet your goals

Actually I think this one has to be done this spring, so I'll be here. Depending on what I end up doing after my bachelors I might end up working in that building lol

It is running really behind.... Its a whole building and I think they're just starting to dig holes in the ground now, if they are even that far.

It's kinda amusing that people complain so much and say stuff like "Oh people wouldn't come to McMaster if they knew what it was like"

While I will always argue that Mac should do better for students, the fact is we are darn lucky to get into McMaster and personally I'm darn grateful that I made it into MacKin, and I know there are many others that would jump at the chance to take one of our places.

This is so true. We have no idea what kind of hell U of T puts their students through. Each university has its faults but in the end us STUDENTS are the ones that benefit from a uni education, far more than the amount we pay for it.
