My roommate is pretty sick with what appears to be strep -- she went to the walk in and they're pretty sure that's what she has, so she will likely be deferring her Wednesday math 1K03 exam as she is in no condition to write it. I think that means she'll write it in the December exam period.

Question is, she was taking this class as a prereq for Econ 2H03 for next (summer) semester and for math 1F03 in the fall. Will she be able to take these classes? She has the prerequisite knowledge from taking the course, she just won't have the exam to prove it. Would she need special permission? Would she be likely to get it?

She will need the credit for Math 1K03. Therefore, she won't be able to take those courses.

Not sure how it works with Business, but she could get a waiver for the pre-requisite requirement, depending on the professor/department. Tell her to email a faculty advisor just to be sure!
