No.
For example, I took ECON 1B03/1BB3 with my electives.
Probably the easiest classes I'll ever take but don't take bird classes if you have no interest in them, you won't as well as you would in a harder class that you actually enjoy.

No. You have to take a certain number of units from that list, in addition to the required courses. The rest are your real electives and those can be anything (I think you get 6 units of electives, but that could have changed). I believe only the engineers are restricted in terms of the 'electives' they can take.

yup those 2 are really great choices even if you dont have any background in music, if you have even the slightest backgound in music and do not hate listening to classical pieces, grats you are garanteed a 10+. problem is they are always full on first day...
anyone know if any of the second year music courses are good?

Hey
you can take Econ 1B03 or Med Phys 1E03 if you like. The Med phys is not that hard, u just have to do your work. Dont take it u absolutely hate Physics. But the physics part in it is actually very easy. Easier than grade 12 physics, I would say.

I heard Music 2II3 was interesting and a few of my friends really enjoyed it and thought it was easier in terms of workload and such.

Check the course reviews section, I believe there's a review on there for the inquiry course

Physics 1L03 is for people who haven't taken grade 12 physics, and for biochem you would need 1B03 by the end of 2nd year. Math 1LS3 and 1A03 are both university level math for those who have taken adv functions/calculus in high school, 1LS3 is supposed to be for life sciences, its easier than 1A03 and you wouldn't need 1A03 over it. And the last two things don't count for units hence the 0 at the end of the course code and they're just online safety quizzes

Neither is more beneficial than. You just need Physics 1B03 completed by the end of your second year, and to take that course, you need a Gr 12 Physics U equivalent, and 1L03 counts as that for those that do not have it. You could also take 1L03 even with Gr 12 Physics already completed, or after taking 1B03 (which only makes it useless, but I suppose it's a mark boost).
What you really need to get into Biochem or any other limited Level II program is a high enough GPA that is higher than the cutoff average(based on your peer with the lowest acceptance average out of all of your peers accepted).
