With a different prof too, sadly, who brings an agenda along with him. I wouldn't recommend taking this course unless you hate war and have a serious penchant for liberal ideology.

I'm a first year Commerce student, and I am wondering if the electives I have chosen are relatively easy.
My Electives So Far:
Geo 1HA3
Geo 1HB3
Peace Studies 1A03
..For my fourth elective I'm leaning towards Labor Studies.
Any suggestions?

I'm taking Labour Studies 1st year, as well. I have already bought the book for it (except the course ware because its eighty bucks :S) and I think it looks really interesting. And it being easy (which it looks to be) is an added bonus. I read the intro to one of the texts, it looks cool.

I loved this class. I did pretty well in it, but then it was pretty easy. But I found it was really easy and learned a lot. I also really liked the prof, but he's off to Western this year :(. There is also a second year course about war from the 1860's through the 20th century that fouces mistly on World Wars 1 and 2. Since Intro to War 1BB3 is now a second year course too, I would think it'd be a good idea to take these 2 classes becasue thet're so similar; easy marks!

Don't take electives that are easy, take ones you like or are relevant to your interests. You're paying hundreds of dollars for these classes.

Looking for first year bird courses. Really bad at math and science but I heard the geo and envirsci courses were pretty easy. I want to major in political science. Find courses that relate to law, government and the global world very interesting. Don't like memorizing, more of a thinker but don't want courses where there's a huge workload and lots of essays.

Yeah, Study of War is a lot of theory, and courses like these, if you aren't aware and critical, can end up being the prof pushing their own political beliefs. But it's good in a sense because you develop strong argumentative skills and become stronger in your personal beliefs.
