yeah. go ask the professor and maybe they can do something about it.
It sucks, cause last year it was Bio1A03 in first term and Bio1AA3 (the new 1M03) in second term, and Bio1A03 didnt' have that as a prerequisite. The material is really different, so try and ask and see what they say. good luck.

i'm a kin student and for one of my electives i'm looking to take enviro science 1b03 to fulfill one of my science courses. however, when i type this course code in to determine when it is offered nothing comes up. does this mean that this course is no longer being offered?

the same thing happens if i type in the stats course that kin students who want their bsc are required to take. what is the likelyhood that a course someone is required to take to get a degree is not running?

hey alexrolland. I looked up environment sci 1b03. it works for me and I can see the times. Try again, maybe it just wasn't loading properly.

As for a stats course that is required for your degree, what's the course code? I can check and see if i can see it too. It should be offered if it is required. let me check and see if i see it. maybe somethign to do with your comp or something. :S

Yeah Stats 1cc3 is not even on the undergraduate calendar. I am not sure why. some other people have also mentioned this. i suggest asking the associate dean's office about this.. werid...i'll see what i can find online and if i find anything, i'll post and tell everyone.

It seems like they yanked 1CC3 out of the curriculum: http://registrar.mcmaster.ca /CALEN...7/crs_2406.htm

Stats 1L03 - Probability and Linear Algebra
After browsing through the undergraduate calendar however, it doesn't seem like there is a statistic requirement for any of the level 1 programs.

all this course name changing is so confusing. lol. stats isn't a requirement. its one of the optional course to take prb.
but this stats 1L03 won't allow people with gr. 12 data mangaement to take. maybe those students get to take another stats course. and also not open to sci or engineering students.

I think for science students, you take stats in second year now. Cause I was looking at the biochem new course requirements and stuff for the upper year. They would take STATS 2B03 STATISTICAL METHODS FOR SCIENCE

I guess this way, people that don' t need to take it wont' have to take it. and if you do for your program, you take it when you're in second year or so.

Not sure, this is just my predictio/assumption from this information. hopefully someone can ask an admin and clarify.

Seeing how 1L03 is the only level 1 stats course that's listed on the undergraduate calendar (and it's not even for science students), I'm guessing you're right.

Hey guys, I'm going into social science I in september, and I really want to take chemistry (CHEM 1A03 and CHEM 1AA3) in my first year. The problem is that I took grade 12 chemistry, but I didnt get an 80% in it, and it says in the course description:
Prerequisite: Grade 12 Chemistry U and either registration in one of Science I, Engineering I, Arts & Science I, Health Science I, Kinesiology I, Mathematics and Statistics I, Medical Radiation Sciences I, any program above Level I; or a grade of at least 80% in Grade 12 Chemistry U; or CHEM 1R03

So, I was wondering if I took chemistry in summer school for upgrade, and I got an 80% would I be allowed in the class? I heard something about mac not recognising summer school. Thanks!

You would have to ask someone from the Faculty of Science. OR take Baby Chem (1R03).
