First Aid Classes
hey, have anyone taken First Aid instructional classes at McMaster? After you complete it, do you get a first aid certification? Also what's the difference between First Aid Emergency and First Aid Standard class?

Thanks =)

You can refer to this link for the differences between the two courses (Standard vs Emergency).

As with any first aid course you take, yes you will be certified at the stated CPR level (there're several: A, B, C, HCP), certified to use an AED (automatic external defibrillator) and in either emergency or standard first aid.

Emergency is much more general than standard, you'll learn respiratory and circulatory emergencies, but you won't cover things like burns, musculoskeletal injuries, etc.
