I don't understand why people have to keep bringing this topic up there are so many threads about it already. Who would you believe the student ? or the OFFICIAL school calendar ?

I know it's nice to get a vacation, but frankly you should be happy you are getting your money's worth here. It doesn't hurt to get used to short breaks too, as you probably will be seeing less time off come post-university employment.

I don't think we're necessarily getting more for our money by starting earlier, because we probably finish at an earlier date too.

I looked up UofT, their last day of classes is April 7th, the same day as the start of our exams, so we are essentially the same end time. I.E. we have an extra week of classes on them.
