I settled for the 8 because of what you were saying about cloud storage and streaming etc.
Its a little rediculous actually, my Galaxy ace has 250mb of internal memory (wtf can you do with that!) and my friend just got the galaxy s3 and it had 12GB! bigger than the Nexus Im about to get??
But anyways I think it will be okay. My friend has a 16gb ipad, and shes only used about 6.

my galaxy nexus has 13.3 gbs that is usable. the s3 has a 32 gb option too  I guess it depends on how much and what quality of video/music/pictures you put on it ;P |

My phone has 40 mb internal memory that Ive ever been able to use for for anything... this amount is split up between apps, messages, stored files, and pictures. |

Smoothness. Doesn't lag even a tiny bit, unlike 99% of the other tablets out there that I've played with.

I have the back end of an app for the MacInsiders chat pretty much done. Just need to learn the Android SDK to make it into something:p.

Also, I've been hearing rumours that for those Canadian preorders that have shipped, they're all coming from the US.
Considering that this is coming through UPS, there is a chance that a tariff will be applied once it crosses the border.
Unless Google absorbs the costs, there is a chance anyone who preordered may have to pay an additional ~$50 to get their device.
