lolZ I've been using it on my nexus ever since it came out right after googleIO, and its fine, there are a few hiccups if you try and swipe the screens too fast, but other than that, its A LOT better than ICS. you won't be disappointed if its your first android system, but if you were on ICS or earlier, you'll definitely notice a drastic improvement. the visual overhaul from 2.3 is nice too.
imo i really like the notification overhaul and Google Now. Probably my two favourite add ons from ICS. Updates baseball/soccer (two sports i follow) in real time, with every inning or goal, WHILE the game is going on, so i never need to look it up on yahoo or something while on the road or out. AND it tells you the next game date and who they're playing, and if you want to buy tickets just hit the button that says buy tickets. very useful for sports fanatics. Google Now is actually pretty amazing, tells me when to leave for work or events to be early, and tells me the best route based on traffic... and don't worry weather is also there.

O_O maybe i'm glad mine is coming in 1-2 weeks after all, hopefully they'll have ironed out that kink in the more recently made 16gb version. err i'm kind of curious though as to what you mean by "bulges up". do you have a pic you could show us?

Thats unfortunate that something like that would happen. I wouldve guessed that people were going to order this device like crazy. As long as its cosmetic Ill live with it too.
ALSO! It arrived in Ohio ten minutes ago!!

there's none cosmetic defects too. I've been following this thread for a couple days. might be interesting to check for the stuff. Theres over 35 pages, but if you go to around 32-35 it pretty much sums up all the problems.
- dead pixels
- light leakage
- bezel creek
- left side bulge
- left side lifting up
if i get the latter, i'll probably just follow ifixit's guide and do it myself. Too much hassle to send it in.
it is only 200-250! what do you really expect!!

Do you guys know a good app for cleaning up the "hard drive" ? like defragmenting on a computer? Im sure with all my installs and uninstalls im losing space to misorganization on my precious 250mb. I tried an app called "Memory Booster" and it seemed to just allow me to stop running processes.
Thanks!

CCleaner does a pretty decent job at most of those things.
EDIT: Oh wait, you meant for Android :/. I usually just reformat or uninstall things I don't need.

Anyone got suggestions for good apps for this thing? I haven't really explored apps that thoroughly because of my limited internal memory on my phone..
(both paid and unpaid)
I know the first thing I'll have on there is a task killer, but apart from that... angry birds, some sort of tower defence, graphing app, reference things, dictionary....

1. Never, EVER defrag flash drives like USB or SD cards or phone memory or SSDs.
2. Android doesn't even allow apps to do something like defrag.
3. Please don't stop running processes on Android unless they're not responding. Free RAM is wasted RAM. The OS manages processes efficiently enough.
You're welcome.

Read what Afzal said and don't get a task killer. On the Android OS, it does more harm than good.
