I do not have that problem. I do not go to the gym every day, I do take break on the weekends. If you meant, push ups, then I really do not understand why push ups will cause a lack of muscle repairs unless it is extreme.

Yes! My boyfriend had a Pulse membership every year of his Mech Eng degree. He went every morning before classes, but you can always find time to go inbetween and after classes too. The Pulse is good because you have to be on campus for class anyway. It can get busy from 10am-5pm though, so try to go in the morning or late at night.

going to the gym takes more time management and organization skills than will power imo. Whenever you see a whale on campus, chances are their poor managers of their own time.

Yeah definitely make your workout fun. For example, if you like dancing, karate, hot yoga, pilates, a class for an entire semester is only $40 at the pulse.

Also maybe take up biking or rollerblading. If you likes sports, go to your local park and shoot hoops. It's a great way to meet people and make new friends. Plus they can show you a thing or two.

See if you can get some of your friends to go play soccer, badminton or tennis with you once a week. You'll be hanging out with some buddies and getting your workout. It won't seem like a chore anymore!

I knew one guy who got up at six each morning to go work out until class started. He also went to sleep before nine each night. Had the healthiest lifestyle I've ever seen, and he was madly in shape.

Then again, he was one of those rare kinds of people that see something once or twice and know it forever, so he didn't have to spend the long hours studying till 4am like I did.

I find it hard to believe that you can't find 6 or so hours a week to work out. It all comes down to discipline as opposed to time management. BTW a tip, workout by yourself. When I work out with friends it'll take me 2.5 hours to do a 2 hour workout because of the distraction. Some people like working out with someone else to keep them motivated but I personally dont agree.

Yeah theres plenty of time to get your exercise in first year. Instead of spending countless hours playing games, and watching tv shows/movies etc... you could just workout or someing

why do you need to go to sleep at 9, to get up at 6? I do the same as your friend but I go to sleep at 10.30 on the dot.

Dunno, that was just his lifestyle. The kid had an 11 average in Eng I, which was the same as me, but he did it with a lot less effort. Guess it just works for him.
