Let's face it, your team hasn't won a Stanley cup in 42 years, and probably won't even have a chance at winning for another 3-5 at least.
At least the Habs have been contenders. I'm not saying they're perfect, and last year was pretty bad, but at least we've been in the playoffs since the lockout... can't say the same for the leafs.
Habs = better team.

Just going to throw my two cents in...
I think the Leafs are nothing but a cash grab for the corporation. They haven't had a good team in the aforementioned 42 years and yet manage to sell out every game, with tickets being expensive as hell.
For everyone bashing the Habs...they did finish 8th in the Eastern conference this year, while the Leafs finished 12th. However what happens this upcoming year is obviously unknown, and for both teams.
That's of course not to say I'm a Habs fan...but just something I think should be brought to the table. I don't hold a true loyalty to any one team...but have sorta-kinda been persuaded into liking the Flames.

Agreed. Until the stupid leaf fans stop supporting their crappy losing team, the MLS&E will just keep on laughing all the way to the bank. They couldn't care less about winning at this point.
At least in Montreal we make a fuss when our team starts losing.

Yeah, I sense that too. I'm no moderator however.
Is it the MLS&E that hires the presidents and GMs of the teams? Because honestly, they are owned by the teachers...

MLS&E is the organization that technically owns the Leafs. The Ontario Teachers Pension Plan is the majority owner of MLS&E (58%)
