MLS&E Owns more than just the Leafs; they also own the Raptors, the Marlies, TFC, and Leafs TV and Raptors NBA TV.
That said, they appoint a President, and the President runs the ship from there.

Leafs all the way!!!
Habs may have a lot Stanley cup wins under their belt... but it is the leafs that always put on a good show even if they don't make playoffs. Leafs fan stick by their team.
Sure it seems like its going to be 50 years till we win another cup but it will be worth it. Once the cup comes home... this country will be in an uproar.
Anyways Habs/leafs isn't even a great rivalry. Detriot/Leafs is a better one. I love seeing leafs beating the team I hate most in hockey.
BTW Matthew. That's BULL. First off all why one earth would you even use wikipedia as a source... I bet some leaf hater went on their discrediting the leafs. Find some real proof.

If you like Wings vs Leafs better, then good for you, but in terms of NHL history the Habs/Leafs rivalry is by far the most significant in the NHL.

Uhhh...don't you mean the GTA?
Other Canadian teams have won the cup since the Leafs did. The Oilers, for instance when Gretzky played there.

Yes, but Leaf fans all seem to arrogantly believe that they are "canada's team"... (I've dealt with this in other forums before... it's sad), and so they seem to think that the entire country will explode if the leafs win the cup.

Well when my leafs do win the cup, there will definetly be some celebration which will prolly turn into mass rioting when the cops come. Its actually a good thing that the Leafs havent won a cup in so long. Toronto would literally collaspe by the ensuing celebration . So you see thats why the leafs havent won a cup yet. But the longer it takes to win a cup the larger that armageddon of a celebration will be. Therefore i predict by 2012 the leafs will win a stanley cup and the earth will most likely seize to exist.

Lol, I'm expecting extreme chaos in downtown if the leafs ever win the Stanley Cup. I definitively don't want to be there when that happens. I'd rather have a celebration at home with friends XD
