The mandatory positions are filled and others will be defined as the need becomes apparent.

Hi,

I'm graduating this year, but I'd still like to lend a hand. I'm fairly active in the firearms community, member of CSSA, OFAH, NFA and OGC and all that good stuff, experienced RSO and avid outdoorsmen to boot.

How I can help:
- Organize a New Shooter Orientation for first time and new shooters, initial idea is January. I can arrange everything in terms of range, RO, firearms, ammunition, safety gear and targets - ideally someone else could take care of transportation (ride share?) and getting people paid up.

- Put together group buys if there is interest.

- If sufficient demand, likely arrange instructor / venue for the CFSC and CFSC.

Best Regards,

JG

Thanks so much JG, it would be really awesome if you could make that happen. I don't have many connections to existing organizations so your help would be endlessly valuable to this club. I'll keep you up to date.

By the way, to anyone who expressed interest over the last day or so and didn't get the first email, I have an interview with the MSU clubs administrator tomorrow to go over the application. Hopefully all goes well and we get approved.

And to WWIIIisNEAR and mohammyt: I've added you guys to the list.

Cheers,

Brian

Good news everyone! My interview today went well, the MSU Clubs Administrator says it shouldn't be a problem, given the educational focus of the club. Probably just some extra paperwork and consultations for firing range trips. The official verdict will arrive in mid December.

what else could the name really be? Mcmaster Firearm Club? maybe they want the educational part identified in the name instead of the idea spreading that we're a bunch of gun loving crazies. whatever. keep me updated.
