It's only existed a couple years! Before it was 2M03 and 2MM3, and before that (years previous to mine) it was actually the dreaded 2M06Which was even a villain in my first year in musical. It was those math courses, whatever you call them (2M, 2Z...) but all TOGETHER so if you fail either part, essentially you fail the whole year. It was known to be called 2M12 or 2M18, or in one guy I knew of's situation..... 2M24.....
Just feel lucky that's gone!!!

Anatomy 2L03 for the shear amount of memorization, and 3EJ4 because it's near impossible to get a 12 in that course. I think after the last year's exam, FIVE people were passing 3EJ4.

Social Work 4DD6-Field Practicum II
No coursework, but definitely the hardest academic experience I've had yet. Working with individuals with severe psychosis makes for the most brutal and draining times ever.

Never had any hard courses overall (Life Sciences FTW?), but the one thing that pops to mind is Like Biology 2A03 and 3U03, just because the way the labs are freaking marked.
/Rant
I literally fought with my T.A. and professors more than anything to get my mark bumped up by like three percent. I spent like 5% of my life on those bloody papers and I get back 70s. Like every other course labs bring up your mark... And no matter what you did to the next paper, listening to all the comments your mark goes up by like 0.6% and he has the balls to say "GOOD WORK!"
/Rant

2DI4 for how little time you get per question.. you really have to know your stuff
math 2ZZ3 (?) ... i had no idea what was going on in that course
The orgo (2e03?) I took was only hard because I didn't do any studying... still managed to pass though
I can't vote for 3EJ4 yet...until tuesday.
|
The orgo most people are referring to is a different one. 2E03 is an easier version of 2OA3 that covers some (but not all) of the same material. Normal 2nd year orgo course codes are 2OA3/2OB3.

I changed my mind. Second year Canadian history from Confederation to the end of the Trudeau era. The class average was 63% and by the end of the term, so many people had dropped out that there were only 11 left.

Worst for me would be electrical engineering 3EJ4, massacre all around, 5 people passed the exam :/

Also anatomy, while not hard, is so time consuming that it makes other courses difficult

3EJ4 this year is terrible, the first midterm the average was 43%, the lab 1 midterm was 37% (based on a rumor), lab 2 midterm improved significantly but I am not sure what's the average is.
The book is not very helpful. The professor arrived to the solutions verbally with only a diagram of a circuit on the board. No lecture notes are posted online and you need to make decent in-class notes. Kind of hard making one when he talks so fast nonstop.
If he's not going to do a bell curve, without question, a lot of people will fail.

CS 1MA3, the only reason why I found it so difficult is because the professor himself couldn't decide what to teach and what not to teach until the last day =/. It was such a unorganized course and whatnot. -___-

PHYS 3A03 - General relativity. This is the hardest course in university, hands down.

Lab 2 midterm average was 54% with the second question being 8.3/18 average. This was posted in a lecture done by the TA.

Are you serious? I'm taking it as an elective next term and I heard it wasn't that bad, that it was actually quite easy. Now I'm panicking
