NEED HELP ! missed exam
Hi,
I just missed an exam because my alarm didn't go off and overslept.
My exam was today at 9 - 11 am, i was studying all night till 5 am after writing a 3 hour math exam last night and decided to get a little shut eye at around 5:30ish, the next thing you know its 10:30ish. I am on the verge of getting another panic attack, this is the first time this has ever happened to me. I don't know what to do, who to call , who to email. Im in the faculty of science. If someone has been in the same situation as me , please tell me what i can do.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

One thing you did not address, which is very important: Is this a deferred exam or a summer school exam?

If it's deferred from April, then you're out of luck - you get a zero on the exam.

If it's for summer school, then you should fill out the form to defer. It should be on the faculty's website. Anecdotally, they allow a "freebie" where you can defer for stupid things like getting the time wrong or oversleeping. As you might have gathered from my statement above, you cannot miss a deferred exam for any reason, so if your request is granted, make sure you develop better study and sleeping habits in the future.

Google "McMaster deferred exam" and one of the links that comes up should be from the faculty of science...if not, then add in "science" into the search.
