**these are what i need for business I**

1 course COMMERCE 1PA0 3 units COMMERCE 1E03 3- 6 units Course list 1 below 3 units COMP SCI 1BA3 6 units from ECON 1B03, 1BB3 (or 1A06) 3 units from MATH 1A03, 1LS3, 1M03 (See Note 5 above.) 0-3 units MATH 1F03 (for those students without Grade 12 Calculus and Vectors U) 0-3 units STATS 1L03 (for those students without Grade 12 Mathematics of Data Management U or equivalent) 3-12 units Electives to total 30 units. so it states that i need 3-6 units from "course list 1" but i chose 9 units from there




anthro 1ao3 , geography 1ha3 and psychology

is this going to cause problems ? i didnt have any other choices becuase i dont even know what electives i can pick they dont show me them

shouldnt matter.. as long as u satisfy all the requirements

it says 9 units from bi0 1m03/1a03 psych 1x03/1xx3.. i took all four (12 units)

what you should do is check the requirements for the major u want to get into next year and pick your courses based off of that

only one course counts as "course list 1". the rest will be considered electives.

it says 3-6 because some courses in that list are full year (6 unit) courses. eg sociology. it doesnt actually restrict you from taking more courses from that list.

as for your elective, im pretty sure you can.

ps. as for what electives u can choose.... anything you want.. as long as u meet the prerequisites

ok thanks but one more thing , i dont really know how SOLAR works but i chose 6 classes 1st term and 5 for the 2nd but i couldnt set the times on solar it just said D/E and i chose day for all of them except 2 econs. so i dont know how they will set my times or if i have the same classes on the same day same time this is too confusing

6 classes plus 5 classes sounds like 33 units.. i think youre only allowed to have 30 (i think)

as for the times.. sectioning should be completed in august and a timetable will be made for you... you can then go in and try to make changes to your schedule to fit your liking

right now youre just registering for courses.

solar reopens in august with an autogenerated timetable. at that time you can modify your schedule (its also when it starts getting really cutthroat as everyone wants certain times)

COMMERCE 1PA0 has 0 units but i have to take it ... so i guess i had to chose an 11th class , did i do anything wrong ? i hope not

thanks jeff , so while im on vacation in august i have to still work on my classes ? they dont even have fast internet in the place im going to :/

Nope. Business I requires 30 units completed. So yeah, you basically have 11 classes.

Don't worry about the workload though. 1PA0 has basically no workload and it's only an extra hour a week. You just need to show up to not fail.



Also: Yeah, you best hope that they autogenerate a decent timetable for you.
