What are some the disadvantages of becoming a part time student?

You will probably take much longer to finish your program and obtain your degree. Could affect job oppurtunities in the future. Can be more stressful balancing work and study.

Post Graduate schools have different requirements about the marks received from being FT/PT student. You should research that first. Also, it affects OSAP if you plan on using it as an aid.

Also, I know that law school want a "crunch degree." They prefer that you get it in 4 years.
