If you do well, it'll replace 10% of your exam mark. So, say you got 80% on your exam and 90% on your quizzes overall. Then you exam mark would be (80*.9+90*.1)% or 81%.

Well, if you do well in everything you don't really need those "bonus" marks. 80 on an exam is well above average if you ask me.

Definitely. But I guess I'm just used to the 'easiness' of high school marking XD

Yeah, it might not be the marking that's as hard as the fact that you can loose marks so easily, especially in first year where almost everything is multiple choice. Marks dropping in university may be common, but it doesn't have to happen. There are a lot of factors that take place in order for someone's marks to drop. Control those factors and you can do almost as good, as good or maybe even better (it happens) than what you were getting in highschool.

Yeah! I'm really not looking forward to the MC style questions. But thanks for giving me hope.. Maybe even stop my marks from dropping, perhaps even they'll increase
Thanks a bunch

Yup, marks can definitely go up after high school. It's just how you manage your time and get on top of things. Don't get too swept up in extra-curriculars or partying, your grades come first after all. :]

~*Sara*~ says thanks to feonateresa for this post.
