wait jhan but if im in toronto and hamilton caller calls me, it will be local for them? and vice versa? (if im in hamilton and a toronto caller calls me, it will be local for the toronto caller but i pay long distance for incoming unless i have unlimited incoming feature) is this correct?

Oh, I would like to add to my previous post:

Therefore, it doesn't matter where the call is coming from. If you have a Hamilton number and you are in Hamilton then ALL incoming calls are local.

If you have a Hamilton number and you are in Toronto (for example) then even if someone from Toronto calls you, it's still long distance for you to pick up. (On a side note, it's also long distance for the person to call you.)

It depends on what your number is. Here's a breakdown if you have a Hamilton number:

You are in Hamilton:
All incoming calls are local for you.
If someone from Toronto calls you it's long distance for them
If you call someone with a Toronto number, it's long distance for you

You are in Toronto:
All incoming calls are long distance for you.
If someone from Toronto calls you it's long distance for them.
If you call someone with a Toronto number, it's local for you

But overall if you're living in Toronto and go to Mac, Oakville number is better to get than Hamilton number?
No, if you have an Oakville # you'll get long distance charges everytime you make a phone call.

Oakville or Toronto, it's long distance.

He copied and pasted the truncated link so it didn't work. That's the original one.

My roommate had a Hamilton number and when she called my Oakville number, she was charged long distance (Rogers).
