Just make sure you belong to one of several well represented ethnic groups on campus and you will be fine with friends and girls. There is a rule written into McMaster's code of conduct which states one must only hang out with their own kind on campus. Many students, being such exellent conduct upholding citizens, make sure to follow this rule vehemently.

i noticed this a lot in first year and thought it might be just my own ill-formed perception.....but i was wrong. well, so far i've been wrong.

But really, step 1 to getting a girl is lowering your standards. I always lol when I read people saying that having confidence will let you get any girl you want...bullshiiiiiiii iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii iiiiiiit.

Confidence wont get you any girl you want, but it goes a long way... lowering standards only really makes a difference if you're one of those guys that seems to have his standards for girls based solely on what they see on TV

just chill, be friendly to everyone and don't let it consume your mind. girlfriends mean a lot of different things to a lot of different people, so just wait till you find one right for you. i've got a great girlfriend and best friend of two years, so it can def. be done while keeping up with your studies and extra curricular
