if we have a regular meal plan, how often do you suggest we use it?
like should we shop for groceries every week?
is it enough for breakfast, lunch, and diner?
i just wanna know how to buget my food expenses.

Oh man. It honestly depends on how much you eat. The meal plan is supposed to cover all of your meals and snacks in a day.

Some things will rack up your bill quickly (drinks, cereal, fruit), which will make your balance decrease.

As a rule, I suggest buying some groceries, as the prices on campus for some things (cereal, fruit, bottled water, yogurt, milk, snack food, bread/toast) are rediculous.

For the meal plan, you either have the people that have WAAY too much money left at the end of the year, or the people that had to add more money as they ate more than they thought. I believe that they have information on how much money you should be spending per week for each plan. Soo, take a look at that info, and you can see how much you may need to support yourself with using groceries.

I'm not sure why they would want an actual photograph of you, unless they are planning on making a collage of everyone's photos and putting it on the wall (lol joking).

My guess would be that they want a photo id to confirm that you are the correct person picking up the key. You can use a drivers license, for example.

You could always phone them:

McMaster Main Number: 905-525-9140
North Quad Service Centre: x.24223/27222 (open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week)
West Quad Service Centre: x.24223/24898 (open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week)

Yes, from what I recall from moving into residence they want a photo ID to validate who is picking up the residence room keys. And parents, for example are not allowed to do it for you; it MUST be the student who is supposed to be living in the room.

Residences in North Quad: whidden, woodstock, edwards, brandon, hedden, mckay, les prince

West quad residences: bates, keyes, moulton, wallingford, matthews
